With TranSend's Authentication Server at the perimeter of a financial
institution's network, no one can log on without first authenticating
themselves locally to their Smart USB Token or Smart Card. The smart
device then operates with the Authentication Server, using one of PocketServer
PLUS' authentication protocols, to provide a secure logon. This strong
2-factor authentication, based on the same process used at ATMs provides
online security equivalent to that of private payment networks. TranSend's
PocketServer Plus assures financial institutions and their customers
that account data and personal identity is being protected with the strongest
security being used in the industry today.
PocketServer PLUS is a totally integrated solution, with proven, components
from top-tier suppliers in the security industry. Since TranSend has
integrated the entire solution, issuers do not have to manage multiple
vendor relationships to implement PocketServer PLUS functionality. Furthermore,
the solution has been designed to integrate directly with issuer's account
management systems and Web sites with minimal effort — and TranSend
provides consulting and integration services.
