PocketServer comprises:
- Accountholder token device (can be USB Token or smart card)
- Smart card reader (optional)
- Branded Graphical User Interface (GUI) software enabling the user
to invoke secure eCommerce and financial institution logon functions
These components, including the software, are branded to provide strong
security association with the issuer's brand.
PocketServer Platform & Portability
A user can store everything that is personal to them: passwords, account
numbers, favorite web sites — even their personal address book
— on the card. Since their identity is stored on the tamper-proof
device and is protected with encryption and a pass phrase, they are safe
from hacking and phishing. Any PC becomes a generic platform. Now, they
can log on as themselves wherever they are. And, when they leave, their
personal information leaves with them.
