Standard Configuration
PocketServer's standard features enable secure and streamlined Web browsing
and shopping by storing usernames, passwords, account information and
other private data in a secure, removable Smart USB Token or Smart Card
- and using that data to automatically fill multi-part Web forms. PocketServer
provides users access to their data in a convenient file-drawer format,
with "tabs" for each data type. The standard configuration
includes:
- myProfile - The myProfile tab gives
you the ability to store one or more user profiles on the card. These
profiles supply the user's address, phone and other shipping information
to Web sites when shopping online.
- myWallet - The myWallet tab provides
a place to securely store he user's credit card information for use
by PocketServer when performing online e-Commerce transactions. With
PocketServer, users no longer need to get their credit card out of
their wallet.
- myFavorites - The myFavorites tab allows
users to store the URLs of their favorite websites, along with their
usernames and passwords. From now on, users do not have to remember
every password for every web site they log into.
- myContacts - The myContacts tab stores
an email address book. One click on an address in the myContacts
tab, and PocketServer lets the user select their send list and launch
the email client application on their PC.
- myNotes - The myNotes tab stores any
type of text that the user wants to keep in a secure notepad –
this could include insurance policy numbers, other account numbers,
or even birthdays.
Skinning Capabilities for Issuers
PocketServer not only provides security, it provides branding opportunities
too.
Customized skinning capabilities allow PocketServer to take on an issuer's
"look & feel". It can incorporate colors, design and layout that fits
an issuer's style. Functions can even be customized to promote products
and other promotions, including retail loyalty programs.
