History
Since 1991, we have developed some of the most powerful,
flexible, and usable technology in the business. Our significant heritage
includes:
- 9 Patents covering secure transactions, primarily applicable to smart
card based systems
- Patent pending on data storage on smart cards
- Seminal work on a multi-application smart card operating system,
with a major smart card supplier
- Development of the first clearinghouse implementation for chip-based
stored value systems
- Development of the first smart card based transponder system for
automated toll payment, in conjunction with Mark IV industries
- Development of the original smart card "convenience storage application",
PocketServer, in 1999
- Development of the Visa Smart Debit / Credit (VSDC) application
for Microsoft
Since being re-capitalized in 2004 TranSend International has built on our legacy of market-leading technologies and services in some of the following ways:
- Selected as first "Smart Partner" by Visa International
- PocketServer selected over all competitors in extensive evaluation
by a major payment card issuer, and is currently being mass-issued in
US and Europe.
- Selected by MasterCard International to implement production "SecureCode"
products.
- In partnership with MasterCard™ TranSend has launched OneSMART™ Web as part of MasterCard's™ world wide launch of OneSMART MasterCard™.
- TranSend's product endorsed by the California Bankers Association.
- Successfully launched MySafeWeb™ as a product for Internet Service Providers.
